Start at the very beginning but I challenge you not to get hooked and end up watching all six seasons. Bizarre scenarios, credible characters you can really care about and a truly macabre sense of humour.

The My So Called Life - Complete Series

Claire Danes richly deserves all the praise she received for her performance in this classic coming of age series. Watch out for cameos by Juliana Hatfield and Buffalo Tom.
