Doctor Who - The Talons Of Weng Chiang

One of Tom Baker's finest hours (well about 3 hours actually). The 4th Doctor does his best Sherlock Holmes tribute in the foggy streets of old London town. Spot the link to the new series.

Doctor Who - Inferno

The 3rd Doctor's first trip to a parallel Earth doesn't go well.

Doctor Who - Spearhead From Space

The 3rd Doctor's first story is also the first Doctor Who story made in colour. Sets the scene for the entire Pertwee era - Doctor as earthbound 'scientific advisor' for UNIT. Featuring the Autons, the plastic menace used in the first episode of the new series.

Doctor Who - The Genesis Of The Daleks

Probably the best of the classic series stories. Timelords cast the first stone in the time war by sending the 4th Doctor on a preemptive strike against the Daleks. The first (and probably best)appearance of the mad genius Davros, and his newly built 'travel machines'.

Doctor Who - Time Warrior

The first Sarah Jane Smith story - and the first Sontaran story too. A medieval romp with a 3rd Doctor nearing the end of his era.

Doctor Who - Dalek Invasion Of Earth

Classic 1st Doctor tale (and second ever Dalek story) as the Doctor and companions find themselves on a future Earth ruled by the Daleks. Featuring the first departure of a companion.

Doctor Who - The Five Doctors

Well its really the 3 doctors, with a stand-in for the now departed Bill Hartnell and only some stock footage of Tom Baker, but its still a complete fanboy feast of old Doctors and their companions (from the days when you didn't expect every companion to turn up at the end of each season, or indeed to turn up ever again). Only the kitchen sink is missing.

Doctor Who - The Deadly Assassin

The first story without a companion as the 4th Doctor returns home, only to end up fighting for his life in an computer simulated reality called the Matrix.

Doctor Who - The Brain Of Morbius

Aka "Dr Who meets Frankenstein". More time lord references than a story not set on Gallifrey has a right to, this hammer horror tribute has the lot - mad scientist, strange cult, hunchbacked servant and of course the creature behind the curtain.

Doctor Who - Pyramids Of Mars

Aka "Dr Who meets the Mummy". The 4th Doctor and Sarah face unearthly ancient terror in an Edwardian manor house. A superb supporting cast help make this a must-see classic.
