This has to be one of the top 10 as well. I was born into the year of Alexander the supertramp and his story is intriguing. The book is amazing but the film brings astounding cinematography, music and depth to the character. Emile hirsche is so versitile and captures the essence of this adventurer completley.

The ultimate cast John Hurt & Hugh Dancy! A brilliantly understated movie depicting the civil war in Africa between the hutus and tutsi. The soundtrack blends cinematic orchestra with african artists and powerful enough to move anyone to tears. (Dario Marianelli). The images in this movie will absoloutley haunt you, the cinematography is so naked and real that you find it hard to turn off your tv at the end.
