Without a doubt the funniest thing I have ever seen. Shot in 'mockumentary' style (think Spinal Tap/The Office) this follows the escapades of 3 friends in a candian trailer park. They drink all day, scheme all day and are constantly being harrassed by the alcoholic, incompetant trailer park supervisor and his no t-shirt wearing, cheesburger lovin' assistant.
Not many tv shows have made me laugh out loud but this is truly comedy genius. Some of the best laughs come from the more subtle gags, such as Ricky's (main character) constant miss-pronounciation of different words. For example, upon escaping a fire he suggests "Jesus boys I must be flame retarded!"
Where some might say its a little dumd I think think its very clever and the writing is so sharp. Every episode makes me laugh.
A really great series from the 80's & 90's. Based on a time traveller who 'leaps' into peoples lives to put right what once went wrong this show bright orginal idea. It brings together the science of time travel and the unknown force directing Sam on his travels.
Every show is unique as its set in a different time with a totally different character. Apart from bringing in action/comedy/drama/romance into almost every episode there are also some fantastic ideas to keep it going through series after series. Episodes that include leaps into his family, Lee Harvey Oswald, when his guide and him switch places, meeting another 'leaper' are highlights. This will keep interest as you follow Sam "hoping his next leap will be the leap home".

Fantastic true-story from WW2 following a company of the 101st Parachute regiment from D-Day to the end of the war. Not only is it filled with action, great effects it really engages the viewer as it follows the same men throughout the campaign. By the 5/6 episode you find yourself really hoping these guys can make it through to the end. The best thing abou tthis series is its lifespan. Everytime you rewatch you find yourself recognising charcters you hadn't paid much attention too previously and seeing them pop up in different episodes almost offers you another story everytime. I like this as its not just about 'war is hell' it highlights just what a dangerous job they had, the 2nd episode with the D-Day jump into France is probably the best.
Warning! This is highly addictive! I thought this show was fantastic, high paced action packed series. Every episode seems to fly by and there are twists galore as an FBI agent tries to foil save his family, save the city in a real time day.
I found the 2nd series to be a bit silly and haven't watched past episode 6 but I loved every hour, minute and second of series 1. You'll also be able to watch 1 series and not fell like you have to go back to it to find any un-answered questions.
Although this says season 1 I'd have all the seasons at the top of my list. My favourtie TV series of all time. I'd seen a few of the old 70's series but didnt really think much of it. This is much better, after a human-cylon (machine) war the humans flee their 12 colonies in order to find a new home. They fly across the galaxy in a few ships in search of the mythical 'earth' where they will find safe haven.
This is so clever in that it offers so much. Its a sci packed with action but also encaptures some of the engaging super fast storylines as 24 has.
There are lots of twists as people try to figure out who of the human crew are actually cylons in disguise. The humans are chased across space by the cylons.
So many issues from current times are reflected in the series, as in Blade Runner the question of what makes us human? is asked on a few times with some very clever storylines, there's also political vs religious storylines. The question of faith and destiny is looked at. This has everything!
I'm currently on season 3 of Entourage and am yet to be dissapointed. 4 friends living it up in Hollywood as one of the crew becomes a famous hollywood actor. Brought to real life with some great cameos this really makes you think what you and your friends would get up to if you were kings and queens of hollywood. Kevin Dillon as Johnny Drama is hilarious in this!
