Horror movies to get your blood burning. A few of these films need an uncut import to be appreciated properly since they've been hacked to pieces by the censors. But most are now available in all their uncut glory. Other movies which should be listed here, but aren't are "Vampyros Lesbos" and "The Shiver Of The Vampires". They couldn't be added to this list, perhaps because they've been mistakenly classified as adult movies.

aka Daughters of Dracula. One of the best erotic vampire movies available and this version is completely uncut! Plenty of nudity and lesbian action from the two stunning female leads. It's a British film, but feels more Euro than Hammer.

Fascination
Very alternative take on vampires by Jean Rollin and one of his best. A nude Brigitte Lahaie wielding a scythe is one of the most erotic and memorable images from the whole genre. Like most Rollin movies this is high on nudity and lesbian action, but low on violence and gore. Funnily enough this version is uncut (though the trailer has apparently been trimmed for some reason) whereas the imports have all been hacked around by the censors.

aka La Morte Vivante. Jean Rollin does a zombie movie in his very own distinct style and is highly recommended. Lots of nudity and some blood. This version is cut by 2m29s though if submitted to the BBFC today it would probably end up uncut. There is an uncut version available from Dark Side Magazine, but the best uncut import version is from Encore Entertainment.

aka Requiem Pour Un vampire aka Caged Virgins AKA Vierges Et Vampires. Another surreal and sexy vampire movie by Jean Rollin. The vampires are more mainstream than those in Fascination, but it's just as good, though the plot is less linear. This version is cut by 6m55s, mainly in the bondage scenes. The best uncut import version is from Encore Entertainment.

aka La Nuit Des Traquees. Surreal weirdness Jean Rollin style. Featuring the gorgeous Brigitte Lahaie and plenty of nudity with one scene almost becoming soft core porn. Not currently out in the UK yet, so an import is the only way to go. The best uncut version
is from Encore Entertainment. When it does get released in the UK, I expect the rape scene will cause problems at the BBFC, so just get an import now.

This version is uncut, but it's pan and scan and lacking in extras. The best version is from Encore Entertainment, though the framing is slightly off.

aka Les Raisins De La Mort. Jean Rollin does a French version of Night Of The Living Dead. Less erotic and more violent than some of his other films, but there's still plenty of nudity and Brigitte Lahaie is in it. This version is uncut, but non-anamorphic and lacking in extras, so it's fine for a rental, but if you want to buy get the US import from Synapse.
