The Prophecy

This like the Crow and the Matrix is one of those films that for me forever changed the way i looked at films. The sequels don't live up to the original but it doesn't hamper this film like the Matrix and the Crow sequels did

Sleepers

This is another film you have probably all seen, but it appears on this list as i hadnt even heard of it till 2006 when my girlfriend kept goin on about it. Its great, again the cast is fantastic and i feel rather foolish it took me so many years to see.

A History of Violence

The Machinist

Christian Bale went to extreme legnths to get his character right, its frightning to watch him as he looks like he may break at any moment. And he started Batman Begins months after he made this. Thats devotion for ya

Dark City

Its great and at the time unlike any other film that was out there. Casting Rufus Sewell as the lead was a bold move at the time by Alex Proyas. He doesn't make many films but has always lived up to expectation.

City Of Lost Children, The - Dubbed Version

This seems to be one of the only Jean-Pierre Jeunet films that no one's seen. The guy is a master at making these kind of bizarre fantasies.
