Ludicrous, overblown, 80s excess and then some, but it's hilarious, and has Teri Hatcher not wearing very much.

Peter Duncan from Blue Peter gets the green-wrist-death-goo, Brian Blessed's got a big beard (obviously), a big laugh (obviously) and big wings (brilliant), Timothy Dalton's in it, and Princess Wot's-her-name is about the most outrageous thing you'll ever see in a PG-rated movie.

Soundtrack, stunts, glossy camerawork, it's got the Cruiser with a shaggy hairdo and a stupid name, and it's ridiculously enjoyable.

Bill Murray's incredible comb-over is worth the rental alone. Then there's Woody's rubber hand, some unbelievable gags ("we haven't got a cow"), oh, and Vanessa Angel's fabulous, erm, pins...

I'm spotting a theme: having The Bacon or Lord Murray hamming it up significantly increases the chances of my enjoying even the crappiest film. This superb B-movie nonsense has some top moments

It's also got a cast full of enjoyable actors ..read more »

Reynolds, Captain Chaos, Roger Moore spoofing himself wonderfully, plus some flash motors, not least the Lambo into which the cat-suited forms of Farrah Fawcett and Adrienne Barbeau are squeezed. Nice.

Forgot to mention Deano and Sammy Davis above, who actually manage to seem more drunk in this one - it's terrible movie that they couldn't even be bothered to finish properly, but it's got more Chaos, Daisy Duke inside the Lambo this time around, and Frank Sinatra.

I know I should know better, but I must confess to getting completely hooked on the emotional trials & tribs of the Mighty Mong Forehead Boy and his pals. And a significant factor in this was developing a rather unhealthy obsession with Katie Holmes.
