A twist on the CSI-type formula with fun characters

Ugly Betty - Season 1

Maybe not the most realistic stories but consistently good at juggling a big cast of lovable characters

Clocking Off - Series 1

Gritty realistic drama with a few laughs as well. Great acting and writing and it's no coincidence that most of the cast have gone on to bigger things.
