Star Wars Trilogy

5 STARS -1977,1980,1983- by far and away the best sci fi films ever made, a space opera that is timeless, outstanding characters and a universe that is still being written and talked about today.

ET - The Extra-Terrestrial

5 STARS -1982- no matter how many times i watch this film it always brings a tear to my eye, brilliant film making.

Back To The Future

5 STARS -1985- an 80's classic, fantastic film.Michael J Fox seems to have been born to play the part of Marty McFly, a film that can be watched over and over again and will be just as good and fun as it was the previous time.

The Matrix

5 STARS -1999- groundbreaking special effects, the Matrix is a brilliant film, starring Keanu Reeves, this film reignited his career, not sure if that is a good thing though.

Transformers

5 STARS -2007- mindless brilliant fun, great action, but the stars of the show are the Transformers themselves which are mind blowing, they gave me goosebumps when they hit the screen.

Starship Troopers

4 & half stars -1997- great movie set in the future where earth goes to war with an insectoid planet, also darkly humerous.

The Terminator

4 & HALF STARS -1985- Arnold Schwarzenegger's finest role and his best film, Terminator is a great movie that has been copyed and had sequels but has not been beaten, a very tight script in which Arnie says very little.

Independence Day

4 & HALF STARS -1996- big budget blockbuster from the 90's,the story? aliens invade planet earth.This film is very Americanised but still delivers on almost every scale.
