The Matrix

The Matrix is a fantastic film and the plot is something truly amazing. The reality is that the world is a wasteland, where humans are an in danger of extinction. Imagine it. You wake up, and everything you know to be true is a lie. Your life, your home, your job, your family, it's all nothing. The Matrix has taken over the world and humans are slaves to the system that has developed. This reminded me of the Anti-Christ, where everything that you believe to be true is in fact a lie. The Matrix' is a classic. The special effects are astonishing. But above all the plot is shocking. A gem of a movie.

Star Wars Trilogy

Quite simply, The best sci fi trilogy. Just have to mention the words: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, , Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, R2-D2, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Yoda and of course Darth Vader and the film speaks by itself. A true masterpiece of film making. Lost for words other than watch them.

The Shining

Stanley Kubrick was a very talented director and this films shows. It's a masterpiece of tension, fine acting, (especially Jack's Psychotic performance) and brilliant shots of the Overlook Hotel. The cinematography is exceptional. One of the best scenes in the film is when Jack's wife reads his work. 'All work and no play....' - I get shivers just thinking about it... Kubrick as always is different, and his horror film here chills down your spine at regular intervals. I can't recommend it more highly.

13 Conversations About One Thing

This is an amazing film. Very well made with the various stories interplaying with each other. It is well paced, on the mystery of happiness/sadness and fame and fortune. This film shows how easily things can change in ones life, it shows that Destiny is not in ones own hand. I strongly recommend that you watch this movie.
