The Kill Point

Only the best show on tv...ever. Too much? Ok, it's a well constructed, superbly acted heist drama. Another show cancelled after the first series despite its obvious merits. To be a fly on the wall in a tv execs office - how do their minds work?...

Starsky And Hutch - First Season

Do you really need my reasons for this recommendation? Classic! It ran for four seasons, rent them all.

Secret Life Of Us, The - Series 1

There are four seasons of this Australian drama and I would highly recommend them all. Look out for the Claudia Karvan-starring Love My Way -- best tv series to come out of Australia or anywhere, for that matter.

Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip

Lurve it!

Mad About You - Season 1

I love the relation between Paul and Jamie. I think the actors' friendship and obvious ease in each other's company creates a great partnership on screen.

Boomtown - Series 1 - Episodes 1 To 9

I revisted this after watching The Kill Point. Donnie Wahlberg ain't half bad! I'm off to look out my NKOTB albums on cassette... good times...

Cheers - Season 1

This ran for years and years and years and is always watchable. There was a noticeable lull in quality when Nicholas Colassanto (Coach) passed away and Woody Harrelson replaced him as the sweet but dim character. But the new group quickly gelled and it was back to the business of making people laugh.

Arrested Development - Season 1

I'm still mourning the cancellation of this show. Admittedly the third series was awful (I'm sorry AD fans, but it's true) but seasons one and two will make you fall in love with the Bluth family and their illegal antics. Rent all three seasons, support the Bluths!

Spaced

This series didn't catch my attention when it first appeared on tv but after Shaun of the Dead, I had to consume everything Simon Pegg-esque and Spaced didn't disappoint. I only wish I'd seen it earlier. Brilliant!

Law And Order Criminal Intent - Series 1

6'4" Vincent D'Onofrio (yum) and his mini sidekick, Kathryn Erbe, are eternally watchable.
