Marco Bellochio seems very talented but this is his only available film. A very intriguing, occasionally beautiful look into a terrorist organistion, without any heavy handed preaching.

Michael Winterbottom 2000s = Altman 1970s. Probably the best British filmmaker working today.

Aesthetically progressive and moving. A worthy succesor to Two-Lane Blacktop. It's a shame Gallo's not solely a filmmaker.

Wow. Christopher Doyle simply doesn't operate on the same level as ordinary human beings. His camera is transcendental in this fantastic Thai film with its beautiful story and painfully gorgeous soundtrack.

So ridiculously enjoyable that it's popular to call it overrated. Tarantino wishes he could make a film this good.
