User collection: OfficialOriginally viewing TV coverage (of his final year at Bristol Uni Vet School) as a bit of a laugh, Steve Leonard saw the programme become a huge success, and the BBC swiftly followed it up with Vets In Practice. He's since travelled all over the world with shows like ‘Vets in the Wild' and 'Ultimate Killers', during which he's been chased by a cheetah, swum with piranhas, stung by killer bees, and horribly mauled by a rabbit. More recently, Steve has been part of the Beeb’s Saving Planet Earth, and he's a keen supporter of Borneo Orangutan Survival UK (www.savetheorangutan.co.uk). Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
This film has it all. Awesome photography, breathtaking fight scenes and the most beautifully crafted tragic love story. I sit in tears at the end every time I watch it.

The Private Life Of Plants
Hard to pick which of David Attenborough's series to include. I think that this one showed the most difficult subject matter in the most interesting way. As a life-long fan of the natural world, I have to recommend all of David's work, but if you haven't seen any - start with this one.
