This might even be Coppola's best movie, and it's so well acted. Walter Rich edited the movie and has said that with each cut, he realised that Hackman was blinking. Which threw me off when I did the Talented Mr. Ripley, because Walter edited that too, and all I kept thinking about was my blinking...
