Why did I cry at this? Hm, take a wild guess, boys and girls. This show never had a chance. Yet reality TV lives on. It's just not fair.

Joss Whedon, you evil, evil man.
Killing off my favourite character.
If you weren't so damn amazing, I'd hate you.

Maybe it's because it was the end of this epic trilogy. Maybe it's because once again my favourite character was killed. Maybe it's because I'm a big pansy but I had a couple of blubs during this.

I foolishly saw this by myself and was crying pretty much solidly for the final half hour. A woman sat by me gave me a hug. Such a moving film.

One of my all-time favourite films. The love story is so powerful, you find yourself feeling every emotion the lovers feel. And that includes crushing sadness.

Before getting into this show four or so years back, I'd never cried so much at a TV show but this has had me crying each series. The closing moments of the eighth episode, shedding light on Christian's past, are by far the most emotional moments this show has given us.

My personal favourite series of the four so far. It's one of the most moving. The finale is particularly emotional as are the episodes involving Christian's son and Gina's big revelation.

This series was just bad.
That said, I did shed a few tears - that weren't in annoyance. The episode involving Sean and the wife of an Alzheimers patient had me sniffling a fair bit.

Season 4 gets back to genuinely moving plots, the funeral of one of the best supporting characters from the first three seasons where only one person turns up being the most tearful for me.

I cried a few times during this but I think already that anyone who's seen the series is going to know which episode I'm going to mention. The Body. I don't think I've ever cried so much at a single TV episode in my life. Joss Whedon's script is near perfect, the whole situation is handled so well and it feels so real. From Anya's misunderstanding of death to Willow's nervous clothes switching. I'm sure even the most hardened folks will have been moved by this episode.
