Absolutely enchanting. If you haven't seen it in a while, treat yourself.

It Could Happen To You

No, I don't have a thing about Nic Cage. Entire coincidence. I do have a thing about this film though. Love the way the first thing she thinks to buy is a big jar of macadamia nuts.

North And South - BBC

This will of course fill up an *entire* Sunday afternoon, but it's well worth it. Gaskell is one of my favourite authors and this is a fab adaptation with a great cast.

When Harry Met Sally

Couldn't very well miss this one off. The quintessential modern rom-com. Love Sally's Farah Fawcett do at the beginning.

Little Women

Oh those March sisters. So earnest and charitable and warm and loving, with Susan Sarandon for a Mum and Christian Bale for a next-door neighbour. Lucky girls.

Keeping The Faith

An unconventional love triangle and great performances on all sides.

The Truth About Cats And Dogs

Funny and charming and a bit silly. Uma shmuma. Go Garofalo!

My Best Friend's Wedding

Love that Julia's character is bitchy and scheming, but I always shed a tear for her at the end. Saying that, the Aretha sing-along provides enough feel goodness to last a week.

Starring: Julia Roberts,  Dermot Mulroney,  Cameron Diaz
    Director: P.J. Hogan

Pride and Prejudice

Give me Matthew Macfadyen over Colin Firth anyday.

Animal Attraction

Hugh Jackman's clothes are straight out of 1989, but otherwise you might be pleasantly surprised by this neat little rom-com.
