No Country for Old Men

Brilliant. A real sense of tension permeates the movie. Disappointing ending though.

I Am Legend

Some good moments are completely overshadowed by the massive plot-holes, poor FX and insipid "horror".

Juno

Heart-warming and sharp but sometimes a little too knowingly "kooky" for its own good. Still well worth a watch.

Son of Rambow

Largely disappointing save for a few inspired scenes such as the walk through the bawdiest common room in Britain .

Iron Man

Arguably the silliest of all super hero films but actually rather enjoyable. Strong cast gives it the edge.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Awful. Tarnishes the name of the original Indiana Jones trilogy. What was Speilberg thinking?!

The Dark Knight

The comic-book Heat. Darker and more complex than Batman Begins. Really sparkles anytime Ledger is on screen.

Man on Wire

Fascinating documentary. Absoring subject matter and extremely entertaining.
