Brokeback Mountain

Not just THE best gay-themed movie ever created, but one of the best films full stop. Beautiful, passionate, and painfully heartbreaking. I had to watch this film several times to try and 'get it out of my system' because it had such a profound effect on me, but I can't watch it again because I just fall apart. I can't see how you could watch this film if you are gay and not be affected by it.

Yossi And Jagger

Short but effective. Moving, enchanting and thoroughly recommended.

Shot on a budget but with an endearing quality. Tongue in cheek and very gay-centric!

Juste Une Question D'Amour

A most enjoyable French film about coming out and dealing with homophobic parents and their prejudices. A well acted and beautiful gay love story.

Coming Out

Depicts how being gay used to be (and can still be for some). Not at all heart-warming, but rather bleak and dreary, so perhaps only worth a look if you are interested in the historical context.
