Executive Decision

A great and silly suspence thriller, with many moments of nail biting tension. Even Seagal gets killed!

The Thin Red Line

This has to be the most beautiful war film ever made. The film is slow in places, but gives the film a hypnotic feel. But the battle scenes are a stark contrast, as all hell breaks loose. This movie has always been over shadowed by the classic Saving Private Ryan, but in many ways is equaly as good. The film might not suit every bodies taste, but still deserves watching, and maybe one day they might release the intended 4 hour version.

Empire Of The Sun

A young Christian Bale (Batman) gives one of the best child performences of al time, in Steven Speilberg's childhood account of a Japenes Internment camp during WWII. this film may have stood in the Shadows of Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan as the Directors master work, but this is a pitch perfect film. Faultless.

Thirteen Days

Costner and Greenwood are outstanding in this fantastic suspense filled re-telling of the Cuban missile crisis of the early 60's. You won't believe how close we came!

The Boys In Company C

This is a forgotten Vietnam war film, made when America was still licking it's wounds from the conflict. Not the greatest Nam film ever made, but if you like Mash, Catch 22, Three Kings and Jarhead, then you will love this. As usual R.Lee Ermey steals the show as the Drill sgt, a dummy run he would perfect ten years later in Full Metal Jacket. Well worth watching.
