24 Hour Party People

Steve Coogan stars in this era defining film, including portrayals of bands such as the happy mondays, joy division and depeche mode. Peter Kay also cameos as a rather amusing night club owner.

American Pie: The Wedding

Jason Biggs and co return in the 3rd installment of the American Pie series. Rude, lude and plenty of boobs. Good film for a laugh but has very little depth of course.

Arlington Road

One of the best films I own, Jeff Bridges delivers the performance of his career in this awesome phsycological thriller.

Babel

Brad Pitt stars in this grueling adventure, that is split into several stories from around the world.

Bringing Out The Dead

Nicholas Cage stars alongside Jon Goodman as a depressed paramedic in Hell's Kitchen. Cage is an imsomniac who is coming to the end of his tether and is being haunted by visions of the people he's tried to save.

Cape Fear

The only thing that makes this film any good is the way in which Robert De Niro plays madman Max Cady. De Niro as Cady is witty yet very believable.

Casino

Robert De Niro takes the lead in another cracker from Scorsese. This is very much in the style of Goodfellas and Joe Pesci's finest performance as Nicky Santoro.

Casino Royale

The quirky original bond played by David Niven and Peter Sellers is a delight to watch with a memorable apearance from Woody Allen.

Casino Royale

Daniel Craig stars in the best bond film in years. An indirect remake of the original bond film, Craig plays an agressive and wreckless bond which is very much how Ian Fleming wrote the chararcter.

Children Of Men

An interesting take on the future, the thing that makes this film work though is the imaginative direction of Alfonso Cuarón.
