Superman Returns
I was disappointed with the film in the cinema, but some how it works better on the smaller screen. Amazing action, and the emotional punch of the original is back. This film deserves a second viewing. Brilliant!

Too many crooks!
Sam Raimi does a valliant job trying to please the fan boys, but with too many bad guys in the film, the moviefails to live up to the second chapter. Venom is waisted, and the film is way too long.But the action is amazing and the sandman CGI is state of the art. It does have it's faults but this is still a great movie.

Batman
Tim Burton captures the gothic feel perfectly. Jack Nicholson is amazing as the Joker. Michael Keaton is great as the caped crusader, and not forgetting Danny Elfmans oustanding music score. But the film is let down by a muddled plot that makes little sense.
