Uma Thurman’s rollercoaster career consists of some pretty interesting roles, including several of Quentin Tarantino’s stylish offerings. Thurman’s leggy credentials got her off on the right foot with a modelling agency at the young age of 15. She became hot property in the industry with cover features on Rolling Stone and Hot Issue. But it wasn’t until 1988 that she made the giant leap into movies. Her breakthrough role came as Cecile de Volanges in Dangerous Liaisons. A number of films soon followed including an impressive run of collaborations with off-beat Pulp Fiction director Tarantino and Gus Van Sant. Uma has even starred in some seriously silly rom-coms.
