Take a look at this exclusive clip from makeshift superhero comedy, Super, starring Rainn Wilson as average joe-turned-DIY superhero The Crimson Bolt.
Wilson plays the ineffectual Frank D'Arbo, who sees his ex-addict wife willingly snatched by a seductive drug dealer. Finding himself bereft and wholly unable to cope, he soon decides to fight back under the guise of Crimson Bolt – lacking any super powers, he’s a superhero with the best of intentions.
With a hand-made suit, a wrench, and a crazed sidekick named Boltie, the Crimson Bolt beats his way through the mean streets of crime in hopes of saving his wife.
The film, initially described as a no-budget Watchmen, is written and directed by James Gunn (Slither), and also stars Ellen Page (Juno) and Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk).
The film premiered at last year's Toronto Film Festival, and will be released in the UK on 8 July.
