Has to be Strictly Ballroom. An absolute classic, and without the clichés you get in a lot of dance movies.

Which film gets you in the mood for dancing?

I’ll admit it – Step Up 1 and 2. That routine when they’re dancing outside in the rain in the second film, WOW!

but you can’t help but love it?

Dirty Dancing 2 is a bit of a guilty pleasure, mainly because of Diego Luna.

What is your all-time favourite dance movie?

I think it has to be Singin’ in the Rain. I first saw it only a few years ago, but it made me want tap dance all day for the following few weeks.

but you can’t help but love it?

I have to admit I was quite a big fan of Save The Last Dance when it came out. I remember my 14 year-old self loved the soundtrack enough to buy it.

Who do you wish you could dance like?

Maybe a combination of Vera Ellen and err... Beyoncé?

Christopher Walken, without a doubt.

What’s your favourite dance movie soundtrack?

Grease is always a high-scorer and I also love the Chicago soundtrack, sadly I’m not so attached to my Save the Last Dance CD anymore.
