Something Different.
By filmsaremypassion (149 reviews) from Bexhill , 18 Mar 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
After killing her husband in self-defence, Marine returns to her home to live out the rest of her sentence with a electric tag. But what the police don't realise that his ghost is still haunting there and violently attacking Marine after years of constant abuse. The only escape is a young man that she delvops a relationship with but will she surrive from the shocking encounters of him or will she die for the crime? It's without doubt something different compared to many horror films of late, some jumpy out moments and shocking scenes of violence espeically to someone that I will not spoil. It ends nicely without having to really think it through and the pefomances from Franke Jassan and Ed Westwick (sorry about the spelling but you know who I mean) are good. If you like horror movies with a difference that has a plot, this is for you.- Was this review helpful to you?

This was rather good, all in all, and it's nice to see Famke Janssen doing some 'acting'. I imagine changing the channel to this in a few years, vaguely recalling certain details, but deciding to watch it again. So, by all means watch this. But you may need crisps.- Was this review helpful to you?

One step forward, two steps back!
By gingerspike (410 reviews) from Grimsby , 04 May 2012This looked and sounded like it would be interesting, and indeed it did start off very promising. It tells the story of a woman who is being haunted by the ghost of her dead, abusive husband. The film was original and relatively well acted but I felt it was let down by its lack of budget. The film lost its pace (and my interest) during the latter half of the movie. This said, it is worth watching, just don't place it at the tope of your list!- Was this review helpful to you?

Unusual Film, Violent Ghost
By ShoutOut (136 reviews) , 03 May 2012Different!
'100 Feet' is about a woman who had been physically abused by her husband for a long time. After filing numerous reports to the police and getting nowhere; one night while defending herself from her husband and a knife- he gets it instead of her!
The first time you see the spirit's face and then his body as he's going after Marnie (Famke Janssen) that freaks you out!
Also when you see her putting her ring down the garbage disposal in the kitchen, then putting her arm down there- why do people do that knowing it could cut their fingers off?
The sickest part of the film is the spirit's attack on poor Joey (Ed Westwick)- just watch and you'll understand.
Unusual, average film. No brilliant scenes or substance, but what can you do about that if your film is about a woman on house arrest?- Was this review helpful to you?
