Ice cold, but very steamy

My god, what with is and ?Noi Albinoi?, that?s 2 Icelandic films in the last week! Indeed the 2 films have a lot in common; both deal with male underachievers who feel trapped by both by their social and their geographic surroundings. The difference, however, is that the central character in this film is a good 10 years older and should know better.
Be warned, however. There must be something about being so close to the Arctic Circle (the Finnish director Aki Kaurismaki is another example), but people from this area do seeme to have a very down to earth and matter-of-fact sense of humour which some of you may find a little shocking.
And, another thing. The quirky and very individualistic music score ? including a great version of ?Lola? ? was co-written by a local Icelander and a certain Damon Albarn. Away from his day job fronting ?Blur? no doubt.
