  • Better than RttWC

    [Highly rated reviewer]

The first 500 points are well easy to get. Just take the time to navigate the menu system first, reduce game time, speed, difficulty etc. And make sure you're in Germany's group, you'll then get 450 points for playing 5 matches (you can forfeit one of the group games) For the 50 points for global challenge, do the China vs. Japan one, you just have to win and you're already 1-0 up, just hold on to the ball! For a next-gen game, the graphics are terrible, the characters look small and there was a system freeze when I played it. It is better than RttWC and should keep football fans happy. The challenges are very difficult and these would not be a quick way to gather another 500 points, unless you're adept at football games. I'd rent this again if my queue gets too short, so it can't be that bad. plus, the challenge difficulty setting can't be changed.

  • Not bad. Just For the Thousand

The game isn't really that bad, its one of the more enjoyable 1000 gamerscore games, especially if your into footbal.

I will say though that one of the scenarios is quite hard and it'll take you a while but apart from that the 600 are simple playing through once.

    Definatly worth a rent.

Thought the game was rubbish. Very long and boring would only reccomend if you want higher gamerscore. Easy 1000 gamerscore but very time consuming.

  • Second time lucky...

The first time i rented this, I didn't like it because of the difference between this game and the newer football games... However, the second time I rented it, I was motivated by the low number of achievements (there's only 5).

  • Surprisingly Good

I rented this to try and get some more points for my gamercard. and while i did manage to get the full 1000gp, i would never say it was an easy game to get this on. The complete all scenarios achievement is an absolute pain and some of the scenarios took me in excess of 2 hours to complete.

in terms of the actual gameplay, it was better than i expected, and i was pleasently surprised. it plays quite similar to pro evo but a little slower, however it was enjoyable.

The graphics are awful, even on my new hd tv but then this is to be expected due to the age of the game.

I would recommend it to people looking a half decent game that will keep you busy for quite a while. a definite rent though!

I like this game. Its good because of the gameplay. The only let down is that you can't create yourself and I like to create myself on football games. But otherwise its a good game. i reckonmmened it.
