Or you can rent each disc individually:
WOW i'm still watching the new series of 24 (day 4) on sky, but this is fantastic.
The biggest difference with this series is that this time round, unlike with day 3, you actually start caring about the other characters involved, like jack's new woman, and her ex-husband.
there are no gory torture scenes in this series (as opposed to day 2) there is nothing that will want to make you squirm and look away form the screen, so you will want to keep on watching this till the end.
this is definitely adrenaline fuelled, action packed, fast paced drama at it's best
Just a bit of advice,
If you do rent this title, (and i reccomend you do), then book a couple of days off work after, 'cos you may want to watch it all in one go.
Desperately trying to write this review without using the inevitable tired old phrase 'Jack is Back!'
Series 4 has all the usual punch, pace and ridiculous jeopardy that hooks you from the very first DINK of the big clock.
Happily it carries all the trademarks that have made 24 so popular:
Over the top non-stop action with sub-plots that always climax just as an episode ends,
A huge and mildly confusing (Who's that again?) cast,
Characters that continually defy all logic/good sense, and have some serious personal safety issues!
But thats why we love 24 isn't it?
Fans of 24 won't be disappointed, I personally think series 4 is better than 3. And if you're new to 24, although this is a story in its own right, I would recommend watching the others first.
The only problem with 24 on DVD is its so addictive that you're bound to stay up later than you intended. So buckle up and enjoy the ride because Jack is Back! -Damn.
