Oh dearBy a customer from Norwich , 06 Mar 2008
[Highly rated reviewer]I had the misfortune to sit through a preview screening of this last night and it was dire to say the least. Don't get me wrong I can enjoy a good rom-com but this was awful.
The script was rammed with awful cliches, the characters were poorly created and even more poorly portrayed.
The main trouble is that the main character is just so very irritating, you can't hope to identify with her. I spent most of my time looking at my friend puzzling over bizzare situations in the script. Apparently all women peruse the wedding announcements in the paper every day as a matter of urgency!!
I could go on but I wont as I imagine you get the picture, film felt really long ar 100 minutes which is never a good sign.
Safe to say you really want to avoid anything to do with this film.

bad luck for a lovely lady who is looking for loveBy KelSmell (185 reviews) from Telford , 24 Jan 2012I didn't enjoy this film, as much as I thought I would. The actresses and actors all did a brilliant job. It was just not the sort of film for me
Girl's night inBy honeybunnie (22 reviews) from Norfolk , 22 Sep 2011Katherine Heigl doesn't exactly stretch her acting abilities in this film, but maybe that's what makes it so watchable! The storyline itself isn't exactly plausable, [how many times can one woman be a bridesmaid?!] but at the same time doesn't take itself too seriously. Marsden plays an amiable male lead, nice on the eye! If you are looking for a bit of lightweight fluff with a happy ending, then this is the film for you. One to watch with the girls.
Let downBy Whitsend (2 reviews) from Worthing , 28 Aug 2011I am sorry - it was hard going - even boring - and not very funny. I fell asleep. Don't bother.
Total bobbinsBy leicestergrit (17 reviews) , 27 Aug 2011If I had to sum up this film in a single phrase then that phrase would be this phrase.... 'Dogs**t'.
Yawn, zzzzBy a customer , 06 Aug 2011Heigl tried her best with this shmaltzy and predictable script, but the overall effect is 'more of the same' - formulaic romcom stuff. Perhaps I am just too old for this mush! The final shot is just excruciatingly bad!
