What a let downBy a customer from UK , 15 Oct 2010
[Highly rated reviewer]The first 30 Days of Night was a great vampire film. It was original. It was scary. The location was great. It kept you on the edge of your seat through out. I would say it was one of the best vampire films I've seen for ages.
I was so looking forward to the release of the second film. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The sequal had none of the good points of the first film. It was not original. It was like some cheap spin off from one of the Blade films. The location was un-original. The cast were poor. Worst of all the vampires were a real let down. They didnt seem to have the effect of the ones in the original film. They tried to copy the look but just didnt seem to pull it off.
They could have done great things with this sequal. But I feel they have really ruined it. From a great original film to a cheap budget sequal. All in all not one I would recommend. Dont rent this film hoping it is going to be great like the first.

£3.88p change!By ross_edwin (18 reviews) from Leeds , 30 Jun 2011This film is rubbish.
It's so rubbish, it would be better to tell you about something else.
Today, I ate some Thai food.
If I was rating the food out of five, I'd give it a four.
After the food, I went to the shop to buy some ice cream and sweets, and out of five pounds I was given 88p change.
I realised then that if you were given £3.88p change from a fiver, you would end up with one of every coin.
£2 £1 50p 20p 10p 5p 2p 1p
If the cashier doesn't have the correct coins, then prepare yourself for a pocket full of change that may make you think 'was that £1.22p purchase worth this effort?'
If the £1.22p happened to be this movie, even on Blu-ray, then no... it isn't worth it.
Save yourself the jingle jangle of carrying a pocket full of change and keep your nice crisp £5 note.
Or... buy some ice cream and some sweets and share them with a friend.
This film is rubbish.
Money and time and ice cream is good.

Dissapointing movieBy a customer , 25 Jun 2011Very dissapointig film, given the first one was brilliant and different to the run of the mill vampire movies. If you haven't watched the first, then this effort might be passable, otherwise avoid. !!
utter boring!By ClaireDior (34 reviews) from Kilbirnie , 23 Jun 2011For a start I have never liked other actors playing the same characters from a previous film. I think it would have really helped to have had Melissa George playing the character she played in the first one, but maybe it is just as well she didn't. I found this film completely boring and there was no 30 days of night like the title sujests. I think that's one thing that gets me about this film why is it called 30 days of night when there isn't? I suppose the other thing that gets me about this film probably more than anything is that it is simply rubbish and very amateurish actors, the whole thing seemed completely pointless and there was nothing in this film that gripped me at all, unlike the original. It continued from where the other one left off and went absolutely nowhere, it could have been a lot better but instead it was pretty pathetic. The only good thing about it really is I know I won't be buying this one, at least I know not to buy this one, I would have rather sat through the first one again than watched this. I would say I actually quite liked the cover of the DVD but it is a sad day when the cover of the DVD is actually better than the film itself, which was a major yawn factor and was great when it ended, speaking of which, what a stupid ending as well, I mean why would she do that? Sometimes actors in crappy films do the the most unlikely and stupiest of things and I say..well your own stupid fault you deserve to die for being so stupid, why did you do that? No one would do that you idiot! ...but wait a minute it is a crappy film...that explains it.
It sucks!By Bignose1973 (5 reviews) , 22 Jun 2011Don't waste your time. A very poor sequel. Loved the first movie but this failed to deliver. Poor plot and even poorer acting.
