    Oldies and goldies

All your favourite film moments wrapped up into one nostalgia-fest - what a treat to wallow in on a cold, grey day. The old trailers were a fascinating glimpse of social history, and an indicator of how film promotions have changed over the past 50 years.

Tab Hunter (there's a name to bring back memories) does an adequate job on commentary. I would have liked more details on the making of some of the classics, but no doubt time constraints and editing are probably to blame - there was a lot to pack in.

All in all, very enjoyable viewing.

    Good But 50 Years ????

Not a bad little doc - sound is a bit poor as it is not the moost high budget production. But the biggest flaw is it only goes up to the start of the 1970's. Great if you are over 60 I guess.
