This film started off as a documentary about NY firefighters - but the french film makers captured the planes going into the twin towers. Filming continued inside the one of the towers as the firefighters struggled to cope (they had to climb 80 stories of stairs - and then fight a fire). Then the towers collapsed. It's like reliving the the shock of 9/11 all over again

Doesent give any real insight into what actually happened, this dvds for the blind sheep who belive anything.

Theres no metion of what happened to:

    -world trade centre 7

    -The pentagon

Or the fact that the guy who had purchased the lease on the twin towers got MEGA TERORISM INSURANCE 6 WEEKS BEFORE THE ATTACK or the fact that he testified that the buildings were PULLED (controled demolitions) and the fact he got paid 2.2 billion when it was destroyed yet he was greedy enougth to try to get 3.5 billion per building.

9/11 was caused to cover up the trillions that had gone missing, as on September the tenth they were told to say were the money had gone.

IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THEN DO YOUR OWN REASEARCH BECAUSE WHAT I'VE SAID IS TRUE!

  • A truly tragic historic event caught on film

    Rated - 4.0 stars

This is truly worth the 4 stars not only for the bravery of the NYFD but also for the courage of the makers of this film - the Naudet brothers - who show exceptional bravery and focus in keeping the camera rolling during the most shocking and unbelievable of events on 9/11. It is even more amazing that the Naudet's were in New York doing a routine documentary on the NYFD and then 9/11 happens and they find themselves filming with the NYFD in one of the twin towers. They film it with sensitivity and compassion and you never get the feeling that they are wrongfully manipulating the situation. I am one of those people that thinks its morbid and bizarre curiosity to view tragedies like car crashes etc. But in this film it captures a life changing historic event that to this day still reverberates around the world. Hopefully this film will remind us all of the thousands who were impacted on 9/11 and in a larger way encourage us to treat each other as fellow human beings and not as people to harm. This is very watchable and touching that is filmed following the lives of one NYFD fire station and the closeness of the lives therein.

  • Good not great

This is a film about which it is almost impossible to write a bad word. Clearly it is remarkable ... remarkable that it is with us at all ..on so many fronts. That the Directors should be there, making the film which they thought they were making, that the main 'cast' where who they were and that the story evolves as it remarkably does. The fact that this is also what history may reveal to be one of the turning moments of our time .. makes it even more remarkable. And yet. Good though it is, and engaging as many of those included are, I found the film ill disciplined and annoying in places. 20 minutes too long and maybe too concerned to give all firemen involved a chance to make their sentiment known, the film flounders from 60 minutes out. I am glad it was made. I am glad I saw it. I wish it had contained its moment with more control.

One of the most momentous events in history and to think it was filmed whilst actually happening is quite incredible. Very moving, this must be watched.
