Unwatchable, unbearable

When 9 songs came out there was a considerable amount of media coverage, because of the explicit sex scenes it contains. I read numerous articles and interviews at the time, but very little about the film itself. I thought I watch it to see what is like.

I rented it and couldn't watch any more than 15 or 20 minutes.

The problem with 9 songs is that the acting is so desperately bad. To make things even worse there's absolutely no chemistry between the alledgedly passionate couple, there was more passion in 1 second of a Karpov vs Kasparov match than in the whole 15-20 minutes I beared to watch.

I was expecting a real passionate sexual encounter, but what I found was an incredibly non-erotic film, despite its explicity.

A very poor film.
