Quite an extraordinary...By Eva#1 from SANDERSTEAD , 03 Aug 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]Quite an extraordinary romantic comedy! Very entertaining, with a plot that twists and turns all the way through the film to keep you guessing! Beautiful scenery and fabulous costumes! A breath of fresh air. Wonderful!

Abduct me!By HazelFairy (28 reviews) from Bedford , 17 Jun 2011I'd seen 'The Abduction Club' a couple of times before, and I just wanted to watch it again. It's funny, and sweet with gorgeous costumes and a sweeping landscape.
I wouldn't watch it if you like anything hard hitting or serious - because it's certainly neither of these.
But, if you like a bit of gentle entertainment that might take you away to a different place, with a bit of eye candy to boot I'd say give it a whirl!
Watch if you enjoy 'Plunkett & Maclean' or 'Lost in Austen'

A Jolly Old Romp!By Shelley21 (25 reviews) from Wimborne, Dorset , 07 Mar 2009The cast are easy to look at and there's enough dastardly and daring do to go around. A light hearted period drama that's nothing spectacular, but not offensive and good fun!
GoodBy a customer from London , 24 Jan 2009I really thought this was a good film. The wigs were rubbish though, and I found myself being distracted by them. Good acting though.
