A very watchable feel-good film for Xmas without being in any way above average

A nice heartwarming film for Xmas without being an earth-moving cinematic experience. Good family film, just right for Xmas. A pleasure to know that they still make such films and that they have a willing audience. I think the best aspect of the film is the cinematography and settings----the small cabin , the almost enchanted forest, the small village atmosphere: they are done excellently; and their is a dark and atmospheric sense to the filmwork. A feel-good film which I recommend for all the family as a good Xmas film. It may not be a great classic but it achieves its simple objective in a competent and sympathetic way.- Was this review helpful to you?

Phish Phosh This Film Is Not!!

Tom Beringer and Luke Ward Wilkinson as Johnathon Toomey and Thomas Mcdowell worked just great together, their characters really work I would go as far as saying, this has to be the best christmas film i've seen!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Best Christmas film in years
By a customer , 25 Nov 2012Now this is what Christmas is all about. I am so glad I watched this film, it really is excellent. Beautiful settings, great acting and a fantastic story. It will tug at your heart-strings and bring a smile to your face. So wrap up in a blanket, snuggle down with your loved ones and a nice hot chocolate and enjoy this truly wonderous and sentimental film that will get you in the mood for Christmas this year. 10/10- Was this review helpful to you?
