[Highly rated reviewer]I'm a big Drew Barrymore fan, and while her acting in this is quite good the film itself is terrible. I nearly turned it off after 30 minutes because the story was just not gripping and I didn't care about the characters at all. I did persevere until the end but it didn't improve and the ending was completely ridiculous. Poison Ivy is a much better Drew B thriller.

Very interesting...By immasquirrel (1 review) , 20 Jan 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHidePersonally, I think Drew Barrymore is one of the best actresses around. However, I do not think that this was one of her better films. Barrymore and Newbern's acting within this film is quite good, although I am not sure whether this is the best film to show acting skills. The ending provided an unsatisfactory conclusion to the storyline- did Holly really have a doppelganger, was it Holly's Multiple Personality Disorder, or was it simply the Doctor dressed up as Holly the whole time? Did Holly's dad really die and it was someone dressed up as him following them around, or was his death just a story, since no body had been found? Very gory- it made me cringe when Holly's body unfurled and the two bodies inside her separated. However, it made me laugh out loud because that part of the storyline was so unreal, and a little bit confusing. Not the best horror film I have ever seen, but not the worst, by far. It was very... interesting!
Hilariously badBy a customer , 09 Oct 2012Badly written, directed and acted. On the plus side, Drew Barrymore is very sexy, and there are some good gore effects.
Badly writtenBy a customer , 06 Oct 2012Well its an ok film to pass the time. Had it been written a little better it would of been ok. The end 20 mins where u are supposed to find out whats going on & for it all to make sense, is a bit well, weird. Explained some of the story but not other parts. Plus absolutely appauling special effects that dont make any sense what so ever regarding the plot line! Could of made the same at home with kids play dough! Actors dont do a bad job, just badly executed writing.

Awful. Just Awful.By LittleRaeJay (12 reviews) from Birmingham , 28 Feb 2012Oh god it's just awful. I got about 20 minutes in and the tacky cinematography (even for its time) and awful acting - which from Barrymore surprised me - was unbearable.
