Paddy NOT FUNNYBy Sedge4427 (23 reviews) from England , 03 May 2012I'm sorry to say this but Paddy as a stand up on his own... Well you just don't have what it takes not funny at all turned this off after 15min.
OK-FUNNY IN PLACESBy a customer from Shropshire,England , 19 May 2010I Loved Max and Paddy and Take Me Out so was expecting this to be really funny. It wasnt. The song at the end about Glasgow where this DVD was filmed sung to the tune of New York New York wasnt at all funny.
The bit that made me laugh was when Paddy brought on stage 2 bags of Greggs pies and handed them out to the auidence.
Paddy is lost in his own without the far funnier Peter Kay.Average
Paddy McGuinnessBy a customer from Accrington , 30 Nov 2009I was really looking forward to watching this but i was disapointed as i am a big fan of Paddy, in fact i found it a little cringe worthy when he laughs at his own jokes in an attempt to involve the audience.
Not Peter Kaye, not funnyBy Adrian White from Braunton, DEVON , 30 Sep 2009Rented this on the strength of his work with Peter Kaye. His material on this DVD is not at all funny and relies on crudeness and swearing. He was alright as a stooge to Peter Kaye - only watched the first 10 minutes and he hadn't even raised a chuckle.
Paddy McGuinness - Plus You! LiveBy Sunshine99 (9 reviews) from Glasgow , 02 Jun 2009Who ever would have thought that a Glasgow audience would have been considerate enough to laugh at this out of pity/embarrassment when their normal reputation is to hang unfunny comedians from the nearest lamppost by their tentacles if they're lucky!
The occasional titter bit but mostly embarrassing silence from the crowd. PM spent a lot of the time giggling at his own jokes as if to help the audience know when they should be laughing.
The extras (well I only looked at the one with the 'folk group') were dire.
If I'd paid money to watch it live I would have been one of the many being asked by the management to leave because of my foul language,
Very very poor.
