Hulk Smash!By a customer from Milton Keynes , 28 Jan 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]Finally, a more adult orientated Marvel cartoon. This one pits The Incredible Hulk against two of the hardest fighting Marvel charecters ever.
There is blood, there is dismemberment, there are fights a plenty...
But being a Hulk film one can't help but root for the underdog...
Great if your a fan of any of the 3 charecters, Marvel storytelling or something just a bit more grown up than some of the older cartoon series.

In all honesty, it could have been betterBy Brilliance (31 reviews) , 24 Sep 2013Hulk vs is a solid animated flick. Or at least one half of it is. Hulk vs Thor was a rather dull movie which didn't have that much of an ambitious storyline. There were many of the not so well known Asguardians which could have really been left out. I just wasn't very hooked on Hulk vs Thor. Hulk vs Wolverine, however, was actually not bad. With comic book storylines transferred into anime, this bloody flick was like a blast from the past. With the story focusing more on Wolverine, Hulk wasn't actually needed in this movie. With a supporting cast of such characters as Sabretooth, Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike and Deadpool, this film has been made even better. With plenty of violence and comedy, Hulk vs Wolverine is clearly the better of the two. Altogether, Hulk vs was decent but not perfect.
don't bother waste of timeBy a customer , 10 Jun 2012a very disappointing take on some of the greatest comic strips ever put to paper. watched better when i was a youth, many moons ago.

You Scratch My Back, I'll Break YoursBy Rigamortis (102 reviews) from South London , 16 Oct 2011One of my favourite quotes from a Marvel comic is ''When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, something's got to give'. When he's really upset the Hulk can be both unstoppable and immovable. The same could be said of Wolverine. Created to destroy the Hulk, Wolverine is well equipped for the attempt. His incredible healing powers, feral senses, enhanced strength and Adamantium coated skeleton and claws make him into a whirlwind of pain. The Hulk also has incredible healing powers. Little can hurt him and fewer things can stop him cold. Wolverine (real name Logan) is a cauldron of rage which fuels his determination. The Hulk is like rage in perpetual motion. Bruce Banner gets mad, he becomes the Hulk. Hulk gets hurt, he gets madder, he gets stronger. As he says himself, 'The madder Hulk get, the stronger Hulk is!'. In other words, don't make him angry, you wouldn't like him when he's angry. So, how does a fight between two virtually invincible mutants pan out? Well, you'll never know. These guys have met on numerous occasions and it's never been a fight to the death. Hulk did once tear Wolverine in half, but he just healed up and came back for another round. Any fight between these two is gonna be vicious - and this one is . Don't expect to be spared and don't let little Johnny watch this unsupervised unless you have plastic sheets on his bed. These guys are having a grown up conversation about how to stop someone breathing. Wolverine wants Hulk dead. Hulk wants Wovlerine to stop, but he won't. Which one is better? There's only one way to find out - but, a fight isn't it. No-one wants Wolverine crushed beyond repair or Hulk sliced into green cubes and packed into a gamma-proof doggy bag. And no-one in comicdom has the guts to choose between them. And nor should they. These guys are near immortal and I want them getting emotional and violent for a long time to come. I haven't told you much about the storyline, because it doesn't matter. It's good, it works, but we just want to see two people who can't be defeated tear holes in the countryside in new and inventive ways. If you like either of these guys you will choke on your doritos with sheer excitement while you watch. Outstanding!
Two great features in One - But not for KidsBy Bluejetdude (9 reviews) , 09 Jul 2011Two movies in one! Hulk Vs was a DVD that I was rather apprehensive about. I didn't understand how you could create not one, but two features about the Hulk fighting two of Marvels heavy hitters.
The answer is simple, bring in the extended cast of Thor and Wolverine. Using the extra characters adds depth to the story by allowing it not to be focused solely on Hulk smashing. For example, Hulk Vs Wolverine delves into the Weapon X program, which is Wolverines origin story. Hulk Vs Thor uses Loki, Thors Nemisis, to get the story going and is in fact the main enemy, not the Hulk.
They run for 30-40 minutes each so there not full on movies but there are extras for each one that lasts for about 20 minutes so there is value.
The animation is great for both and the voices fit the characters so well.
One Final note, Hulk Vs Wolverine is suitable for youngsters. But then again, he is a guy with knives in his hand so you should expect stabbing and blood. I don't remember any in Thor.
Give it a rent. It won't take much of your time and the time it does take, you'll enjoy.
Brutal Oh Yeah!By SJM87 (1 review) from Margate , 21 Mar 2011I really enjoyed watching this DVD, its the first Marvel cartoon I have watched since the old X-Men TV series and I was presently surprised at how good and brutal it was. I thought Hulk vs Wolverine was better than Hulk vs Thor but still good none the less. A must watch for all Marvel fans.
