All Good until the final thirdBy The KnightWatcher (629 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 27 Jan 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]2010 Ryan Gosling. Sad romantic drama mystery. Idyllic marriage turns bad when husband ,who was messed up by his childhood, starts working for his father in New York as a cruel landlord. He forces his wife to have an abortion. After his wife , played by Kristen Dunst, goes missing and is no longer in the cast the film is much weaker and the final third is disappointing, a little bizarre and unconvincing. Based on a true story.

Mehh take it or leave itBy Leeza (16 reviews) , 17 Nov 2013A very slow film, I didn't want to switch it off but I wasn't on the edge of my seat. I guess it helped pass a rainy Sunday afternoon
It deserves better ratings than it has received so farBy MrsGslng (16 reviews) , 30 Sep 2013It was a good one! I really enjoyed the strong characters created by Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst. Ryan Gosling is extremely versatile when it comes to his roles and Kirsten Dunst gives one of her best shots
Dull, dull, dull.By Scotchguy (29 reviews) , 29 Sep 2013So disappointing, I found it almost impossible empathise with the characters and I wish I had turned it off rather than persevered. I've given it one point because the acting was good, and I mean good not excellent.
not the best, but I enjoyed itBy haylesbaylespigstales (177 reviews) from Fleetwood , 29 Sep 2013a little disappointing but I just couldn't turn it off - had to see how the story ends - think this the way most blue bloods behave - very strange & somewhat disturbing!
So, so, boringBy HungryHun (10 reviews) , 28 Sep 2013Terrible. Avoid. Its so dull it makes you wonder why this happened. And the ending is rubbish. DOn't bother. Just don't.
