[Highly rated reviewer]Loved this film.
A real life 'The Devil Wears Prada'.
Anna (Nuclear) Wintour is fabulous. Ascerbic and dominant. Suppose you have to be that way to get where she has got to and stayed there for so long.
Loved Ggrace Coddington. She was the real star of the film. Her comments and her demeanour were spot on. She has an eye for the quirky angle and makes each new feature superb.
This insight into the hallowed offices and life of Vogue was a joy to watch. Now I know how and by whom the excellent issues I salivate over each month are produced.

A fascinating insight into Vogue, the most influential fashion power house. And of course the icon, Anna Wintour!

Didnt LikeBy GeraldineGeorge (11 reviews) , 28 Feb 2012I wasnt a fan of this film at all. I wasnt quite sure if I was watching a film or a documentary. Sorry, steer clear of this one.
Powerful WomenBy a customer , 22 Jun 2011I think this film is purely for those interested in fashion. I loved it as it was a warts and all look at the influence of Vogue across the fashion industry. Anna Wintour seems to frighten the living daylights out of many key designers simply because she heads up the most revered fashion rag in existence. Anna Wintour comes across as a very cold figure, whilst Grace Coddington is fabulous as an artistic whizz who manages to sneak some seriously creative shoots past Anna - the combined commercial and visual nouse of these 2 women makes for a highly successful business. It's a great documentary - you just have to like clothes.

Very interesting documentaryBy a customer , 09 Jun 2011I was not hugely impressed with this film at the beginning, but stuck with it and it proved very interesting. However, very slow and more of a documentary.
Very interesting to see the similarities between the character Meryl Streep plays in the Devil Wears Prada and Anna Wintour, but I actually quite like Anna Wintour the more I watched the movie. There are other interesting characters in the documentary, such as the Creative Director - Grace Coddington and Andre Leon Tilley (I'm not exactly sure what his job was).
Not just a real life Devil Wears PradaBy a customer , 14 May 2011'There is something about fashion that can make people really nervous.' Anna Wintour
This film does not make you nervous about fashion but possibly wary of the fashion and accompanying magazine industries.
It's a cracking documentary film built around the towering strange presence of Anna Wintour. The September Issue confirmed to me that I would never want to work in such a high pressure, judgemental environment.
There were moments of conflict and all-to-understandable difficult human interactions. Sometimes I just felt sad for the people involved.
At just an hour and a half, the film rattles along at a good pace and holds few surprises but is eminently watchable.
