Oh DearBy topcat69er (3 reviews) from Oxford , 09 Aug 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]I dont normally write reviews, but I feel that this could be a public service.
This is THE worst film I have ever seen. Ever.
Dont be drawn into renting this beacause of the names involved. Kilmer is annoying, and the script is terrible.
My opinion - Avoid

Steam room shmeam room WTF rubbishBy LJgrey (11 reviews) , 07 Mar 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]What an embarrassment for Mr kilmer. Would you really want to admit to being in this film. Big time, low budget film that should really say hidden, out of reach and never shown again. Sorry Val Kilmer fans.
Slow and boringBy desmondsdoll (264 reviews) from Stockport , 03 Aug 2012This was so boring and seemed to steal scenes from The Hole (aka After The Hole) - not one I intend to ever watch again - very slow!
All of the characters seemed incredibly one dimensional!
Where Was The Steam....By Jordan (301 reviews) from London , 22 Sep 2011This had potential to be a great movie.
Great storyline...frighting situation....dull movie....
Despite the let down, I was still able to watch until the end. Now I must admit that it was a very unexpected ending. Very unpredictable!
Despite that, is it a movie worth watching? Not really.
If you are expecting something similar to Saw, then you are wrong.
If you like a big twist at the end, then you may find this okay.
No Steam!By Freebee (44 reviews) , 12 Jul 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]Very disappointing.
I think the director had some sort of idea and message he wanted to put to the film but didn't manage.
I watched to the end just to find out what it was really all about but even then i was none the wiser.
Don't waste your time.
Val Kilmer was ok as per usual but the cheap arty scenes and story let it right down!
I think the film was more of an experiment for the director to see what he could do with $100.
I don't knowBy Toni4rmBenoni (1 review) from Beckenham , 06 Mar 2011This film is basically low budget. In my experience this means that the director try's to be TOO clever.
Its an interesting story and has the potential to be good, although it could do with some refining.
Basically it tries to hard to be deep and thought provoking with weird camera techniques and lighting and just leaves a viewer confused.
Unless you are actually interested in analysing what the difference is between a good movie and a shocker I would suggest you avoid it. I always find it interesting to watch and imagine how a big director with a bit more money would have made it work.
It's basically a perfect example of a creative team forgetting that an audience will only see it once and do not have the months of planning and analysis of character and plot that they have, therefore making everything seem vague and open ended.
