not too disapointing...By alice879 (2 reviews) from Crook , 31 Oct 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]I watched this movie as I am a huge fan of The Vampire Diaries and was curious on what some of the actors had done previous to this..... Nina Dobrev is the essence to this movie, her acting is not cheesy at all,she makes what is happening in this movie believable and its unfortunate for this movie that it didn't have a bigger budget or other actors who perform with the same quality Nina actually brings. Call me biased but I can honestly say that if this was the only time I had seen Nina in action that I would still be typing these comments. When Nina performs she performs like many great actors making it so natural and it is very unfortunate that the other 'characters' were not believable. When I watch film or T.V I like to feel like it is something that is really happening and Nina does this very well, Peter Stebbings actually pulls it off too :) watching these two actors makes it worth while but the other actors all I can say is meh.... the story doesn't have much of a build up to it and Loren 'knows' her new neighbour is a werewolf after just seeing his bike....also the c.g is quite poor and the werewolf design costume is very dated and unrealistic which is a real shame as with a lot more depth and design it could have been a fab new werewolf movie!but it is worth watching if your a Nina Dobrev fan, very good work here :)

C+ Could do better!By pammielu (2 reviews) , 19 Sep 2013Not a bad film. I have seen worse werewolf costumes higher budgets films so at least this one looked more convincing than those. The acting at times was questionable, however this was through and far between and was thoroughly spread throughout ALL of the characters. There was also a bit of humour in the for of tree climbing. However the best bit was the dog in the gun shop scene (just like the dogs from resident evil).
All in all not a bad watch
Cheeseville with extra topping.By Lalaith (32 reviews) , 11 Sep 2013To try and say anything positive about this movie is very difficult. The effects are lame, the acting isn't much better and the whole thing with how it was shot and how the story went just seemed like a novice film student that had run loose with his dad's old camera. I barely made it through this somewhat painful display of plain bad. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone not even the family members of the cast, it would be worse than watching your kid murder a school play.
Trashy Fun Frightnight RemakeBy MatthewBatham (9 reviews) , 24 Jul 2013A low-budget TV movie remake of Frightnight but with a werewolf instead of a vamp. Trashy piece of fun if you have nothing better to do.

[Highly rated reviewer]A good little movie, not graphically gross and kept my attention. Made me smirk and for once the lead males weren't pretty boys, they left the pretty to the lead female!
