Oh dear, what a travesty

I can only think of two good things to say... Her hair is wonderful, and there were a couple of moments in the script that were unique and funny, such as the tampon moment (this is a very minor passing joke, so I'm not spoiling anything). However, this film is genuinely tragic.
When I got to the credits I realised that the one actor I had thought was decent was actually the director, and suddenly everything made sense. Bless his heart, I hope he sticks with the acting.
I mean, the camera work was simply awful - the tops of their heads were chopped off half the time. It was like they stuck a camera on a tripod and left the actors to read the script whilst the crew went off for a pint! It is such a shame that it was acted, directed and produced in such a bad way because the script could've made a half-decent film. I actually felt quite irritated most of the time, mainly because it was all so fake and amateur. I really couldn't understand why I was supposed to care about what happened to her. She came across as an idiot who was completely self-involved and not at all charming. Her character was obviously supposed to come across as young, sweet and endearingly naive, but she was infuriatingly transparent. I thought I might be able to relate to her, as I'm in the same situation at the moment, but she just doesn't have any depth at all. She doesn't even look the age she's meant to be playing - I thought the actress looked much older, mainly because it looked like she'd just had loads of collagen put in her face. I honestly have no idea why I was supposed to care about her tiny crossroads-in-my-life moment, and I still can't work out why anyone cared about her so much, when she was so self absorbed. Grrr, I'm still getting irritated! A massive waste of time.
