[Highly rated reviewer]A fantastic film which is a must for all action film fans. The movie is about a new form of terrorist weapon which a group is planning to use to cause disaster at a football match between North and South Korea. The story is immensely gripping with superb action set-pieces and a bit of a love story thrown in too! If you are looking for a film to introduce you to Korean cinema then look no further than Shiri. Great stuff.

This has the potential to make a decent 10 minute short.By dud (6 reviews) from London , 10 May 2013If they could jut out the 1:50 of mundane machine gun rattle and this has enough content to maybe make a nearly interesting ten minute short.
Nothing special...By gingerspike (432 reviews) from Grimsby , 04 May 2012Can't remember too much about this film, hence it couldn't have been very memorable! That's about the all I have to say! Rent something else - there are far more superior Asian films out there. Many many of them!
Could have done betterBy papatez (330 reviews) from folkestone , 28 Mar 2012Another well made film from the Korean film industry but I just got fed up with over the top fight scenes. When a group of 50+ 'special agents' trapped a killer in a kitchen, spent 15 minutes in furious gun battle exchanging automatic weapon fire and yet still failed to kill him - I gave up and turned it off. I have no problem with subtitles, usually, but the more fast-paced the action is and the more devious the plot the more difficult it is to keep up and I think that is where this film failed for me.
ShiriBy Johnt2 (4 reviews) from Gosport , 16 Jan 2010A rather muddled film spoken in Korean with English sub titles about the conflict between north and south Korea. A lot of action but difficult to keep up with.
