[Highly rated reviewer]Too far fetched, and some of the actors gave 'Wooden' performances.
Passible - Good B Movie GradeBy a customer from Hampshire, England , 28 Mar 2007Passible B Movie fodder. Could and should have been much better, its an excellent plot line, but very poorly Directed and Produced. Nick Nolte and Nigel Havers were good in their roles, if somewhat unbelieveable charactor matching for Nick - however the two of them saved the film from certain death, the Director failed big time to capitalise on what was a good prospect with a quality cast. He made it too formulaic, with little real tension and drama. Nonetheless, its a very watchable film, that moves along with a good pace. A different angle on WW2, pity more wasnt made of it.
poorBy a customer from North Yorkshire , 06 Jan 2006Very disappointing and unbelievable. Rented it for the Borneo connection. Waste of time.
well acted - but hardly an action adventure!!!By Mark Jennings from Southport , 21 Sep 2005This was a long and laboured fairy-tale for adults .... ok for a Sunday afternoon film after a big dinner... so if you fall asleep... rest assured... you wont have missed much! Put all the action together and it amounts to about 5 mins! Might appeal to some... but deffo not me!..
Great Action Movie.By a customer from Midlands ,England. , 24 Aug 2005This was a good early example of 'Nick
Nolte's' acting.Supurb performence from a young 'Nigel Havers'as his co -star,
