Most helpful review
very disappointing filmBy a customer , 24 May 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]Very disappointing film, as if all the major actors were just doing it to fulfill a contract obligation, they appeared to have zero interest in what they were doing. The film was also shot almost entirely in the dark, I always think that just shows a lack of ideas or budget. It was trying to be Bourne without Bourne, the music or the script. In fact the music was like something from a 1960s tv detective programme. To its credit I watched until the end.

Abysmal AbysmalBy hiace_drifter (5 reviews) , 17 Oct 2013Only gave it 20 mins.... lost the will to live. Ewan MacGregor being in it should have set the alarm bells ringing.... bad accent, wooden acting. To be fair he is not helped by dreary directing - the action is pushed to the backseat, so your left with clunky script and pedestrian plot. I was hoping for a smart, edgy thriller like the original Bourne trilogy - no such luck! Avoid.
Macho poor-man's Bond filmBy a customer , 15 Sep 2013This film served to showcase the mixed martial arts primitive fighting skills of the lead actress. It's a mindless martial arts movie sporting some nice supporting talent (McGregor, Douglas) but ultimately revolving around fight scenes and stunts. I couldn't figure out whether this was meant to be a superhero movie or not. The main girl had her head struck against so many walls, chairs and fists without suffering concussion that I began to suspect that she was some kind of superhero-spy character. Even James Bond is not quite this unrealistic. Halfway through the film there was a token attempt to feminize the lead actress but this failed; with the result looking like a man in drag.
Pretty goodBy a customer , 08 Sep 2013A not bad thriller as they go, but Gina Carano is a real revelation - it was the first time I had heard of her but after such a great performance I had to do more research on her! She should be in more action movies - we need more action women!!
not even worth itBy dafish (44 reviews) from Barry , 03 Sep 2013i watched this film with an open mind did not read any of the other reviews. Found myself board by half way through the film. Parts that should of been tense. Where slow and wet. Found myself not caring about anyone involved. And just before the end i stoped watching out of bordem. Give this one a miss . Its extremely dull
Okay if you have nothing else to watch.By arvee (2 reviews) , 11 Aug 2013Seemed a great trailer on another disc but in the whole it was dire! Have seen better Steven Segal films which never get high ratings! Very disjointed, stiff acting and almost predictable. Saw it through just to confirm that it was consistently poor! A case of not judging the book by the cover?
