I can't believe I'm even giving this one a review

This film meanders along with boring, drawn out scenes and unnecessary dialogue that had me using the fast forward button more times than I have ever done before. I didn't believe in or relate to any of the characters because the acting was so wooden. There are some great child actors out there, so why didn't the makers of this awful, pointless film use one of them? Surely the first rule of acting in front of a camera is 'don't look into the camera', unless the scene calls for it. The battle scenes reminded me of a group of civil war enthusiasts re-enacting their favourite skirmish over the local park. Some of their death scenes were laughable. If I have to find one good thing to say about this load of rubbish, and believe me I am struggling, it would be the surprise at the end of the film concerning the father. I didn't see that one coming.
