I really liked it.....By C1LS56 (161 reviews) from Tunbridge Wells , 13 Mar 2010A very pleasant film with great actors enjoying their roles, I think.
There should be more like it and you won't regret watching.
Great filmBy RIPmichaelJackson (3 reviews) from risca , 06 Jul 2009Retro 80's and harmless still as good as I remember when I was a kid
5 out of 5
Could have been better!By a customer from Camberley , 12 Feb 2009The teaming up of Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas seemed a good idea but the film falls apart after 15 minutes or so, due to a bad script. It then becomes a typical 80's buddy movie with a flat ending - It could have been a brilliant movie if it had a strong, funny script
AS GOOD AS i REMEMBERBy wadegarret2003 (9 reviews) from Chester , 08 Feb 2008What can I say? Not only are there two of the worlds best actors in but the storyline is intriguing and original.
I originally watched this in about 1992 and then again last month and although the cloethes etc are dated, the storyline and acting captured my heart as much as it did in 92.
A positive feelgood film for any age.
Top Class All The WayBy a customer from Dewsbury , 07 Dec 2006I watched this years ago. What a brilliant movie. The combination between K Douglass and B Lancaster is superb.
It's very 80's. I love the part when Archie goes to the gay bar without knowing. Brilliant.
Ell Wallach was fanastic. You won't want a hitman that cannot see with his glasses!
