Alright for Some Who May Enjoy TV MoviesBy MrGiles2 (82 reviews) from Middlesbrough , 14 Aug 2013Reading other reviews on this movie, I did notice that previous renters had given their thumbs down. It is a rather silly film, although it does try hard. But, the obvious inconsistencies which were noticeable, such as the death ray killing the bad guys, and not the good guys, the apparent continuity mistakes such as a bleeding dying man not splashing the person trying to save him etc. Of course, these have already been mentioned in other reviews, so if you are a critical viewer, then please avoid this movie. For those who may enjoy this kind of disaster movie despite its horrendous flaws, and isn't too critical, then you probably will enjoy it. I thought it was an alright movie, lasting some 85 minutes or so. But, there again, a movie would have to be really bad for me to be THAT critical. Give it a try anyway.
if i could just spell atrocious!!By farmfist (15 reviews) , 06 Aug 2013Woeful, lamentable, shockingly bad, the effects were very far from special, if you described the acting as wooden that would be a serious disservice to trees. I wonder if some viewers saw something funny to have rated it as anything other then pitiful

Starz Final Hours!By SimpleReviews (18 reviews) , 31 Jul 2013This film is proof that a good 'End of the World' si-fi concept with a good cast (and to be honest, some decent special effects) cannot save a poorly written, directed and scripted movie. If you need such proof, watch it. If you don't, JUST DON'T !!! Starz, you should be ashamed of yourself, and don't blame Anchor Bay!
