Toe-curlingly bad from start to finish!By MaryEss (5 reviews) , 19 Sep 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]I rarely write a review unless a film is outstandingly good or appalling and 'Passion' is absolutely awful! I thought any film that Noomi Rapace was in would probably be of a certain standard following her brilliant portrayal of 'The girl with the dragon tattoo', but how wrong I was. It's just dreadful-don't waste an hour and a half of your life!

Disappointing :(By SweetSister (7 reviews) from Croydon , 03 Dec 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideThis movie started out very promising; it stumbled along at a medium pace; twists and turns, new intrigue... and then it went to pot in the last 15minutes or so - what was that ending all about?!
Watch the original if you're going to watch anything!By a customer , 02 Dec 2013English-language remakes of European films have a dodgy reputation but this might be the worst of the lot. Alain Corneau's 'Love Crime' with Kristin Scott-Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier is a serviceable French thriller (3 stars for me). Nothing special but watchable. I simply can't put into words how bad 'Passion' is. Do not watch unless you are a film student and want to learn what not to do.
Lost ItBy Stevo2 (12 reviews) from Elgin , 01 Dec 2013Starts off okay, then dissolves into complete and utter shyte after the first half! An unbelieavable bomb of a movie, the decent cast must have thought they were safe with Brian De Palma directing ( That's why I rented it). Well he's clearly gone off his tittays and been visiting other planets if he thought this movie was presentable to the paying public. Don't waste your time on it like I did. There is a reason why it has so many negative reviews!
Complete rubbishBy a customer , 22 Nov 2013Dont waste your time...watched the last half of the film on fast forward. Chose this film partly because of the twi leading ladies, who are both fab, guess they were looking for a pay day!
Taut Thriller With Surprising EndingBy MrGiles2 (81 reviews) from Middlesbrough , 04 Nov 2013Reading other reviews, it appears that there are mixed feelings about this Brian de Palma effort. It may not be up to standard like some of his previous films: Carrie; Body Double; Dressed To Kill, but there is enough interest in this film to keep me entertained. Alright, it was a bit slow during the beginning, but as the tension mounted up, it became quite gripping towards the unexpected ending. Good viewing though for de Palma fans. Very good picture and sound. Worth a view as long as you aren't too critical.
